Louise Ann Bauer, 66, Watercolor Artist

Louise Ann Bauer, 66 of Ashland, passed away Tuesday morning, June 21, 2014 in the Hospice House following a four year battle with Cancer.
She was born September 10, 1947 in Buffalo, New York to the late Benedict and Eugenia (nee Domagala) Dubiel.
Following high school, Louise graduated from D’Youville College in Buffalo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She obtained a BSN from Lorain County Community College and practiced as a Registered Nurse. Louise married Adrian Bauer on September 19, 1970 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. 
Louise worked in several nursing homes throughout Ashland County.
She was a devoted member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in West Salem. Louise enjoyed reading, gardening, painting various mediums, especially Watercolors, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of more than 43 years, Adrian Bauer of Ashland; one daughter, Rachel (Billy) Moore of Pickerington; one son, Todd (Becky) Bauer of Medina; four grandchildren, Hayden and Zoey Moore, Madeline and Rosemarie Bauer; one sister, Arlene (Michael) Bell of Comox, British Columbia.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Church, 44 Britton Street, West Salem, OH 44287 with Reverend Father Thomas E. Stock officiating. Friends may call Friday, June 27, 2014 in the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, OH 44805 or to Women’s Shelter, Ashland, OH 44805.
